The Nauset Recliner model is our most popular frame design.  The wide seat combined with soft, height-adjustable pillow, is incredibly comfortable! The pillow can be shifted up or down on the chair thanks to Velcro, to optimize comfort no matter how tall or short you are.

Five recline positions it offers optimum sun exposure, or can be set upright for everyday seating. Wide arm rests feature a beverage holder that fits a coozie, coffee mug, or water bottle.

The chair frame is available in your choice of two wood options- yellow balau and acacia.  Yellow balau is our go-to wood.  Also known as shorea, it is used for decking- very strong and weather resistant with a beautiful mahogany appearance.  A denser wood, it weighs about 14 lbs.  Acacia is also weather resistant but very lightweight at about 10 lbs.  The wood has a more pine-like grain and is not as strong as balau.  Our recommendation- if you are over 200 lbs and/or intend to leave outside often, choose balau.  If you are a lightweight person who carries the chair further distances, consider acacia.
