High Head Beach is a long stretch of beach extending from Truro up to Provincetown that allows access to 4x4 vehicles. It offers a unique opportunity to drive up a long secluded stretch of pristine beach, and park at your favorite spot.

Permits can be obtained in Provincetown from the National Park Service at the Province Lands Visitor's Center on Race Point Road, after passing inspection for the proper accessory equipment and tires. Cost for a one-week permit is $40; annual permit is $65; annual self-contained vehicle permit is $110.
